Sophie Says......

This little Sophie Says insert is a little different than the others because this one made me realize that I should probably go on a diet soon. Everyone knows that kids do not have a filter, they just say whatever comes to mind. So here is my sweet conversation with my Sophie monkey. First of all let me say that we were hugging and having a very tender moment when she pulled her head back from my belly and looked right at it and said:
"Whoa, look at you."
Then she put her hands on my stomach and pushed in and said:
"Daddy, your belly is puffy."
Puffy? Puffy? Well I never.......
Guess I will have to stop posting all of my favorite treats and instead talk about different vegetables I like to eat. Just doesn't seem as exciting. However, my dear friend Linda Hansen is doing a bit of weight loss of her own right now and is a great example to me. So I guess I better try to step it up a little bit and get rid of some of this "puff".
So today I am sending love out to all my "puffy" friends.
Your friend,
Jaron

my lovely three year old told me I look like a hippo the other day.......gotta love kids and their filter-less mouths ;) Needless to say I am NEVER wearing that purple shirt again (even though since I am pregnant I guess I kind of have an excuse)
I love hearing all the things little Sophie says....she is quite a character :)

Your little Sophie is so adorable!! I'm in the puffy club, too. I'm starting to panic 'cuz we are leaving on a cruise August 3 and my formal dresses from last year's cruise don't zip (or even come close!!). That's what I get for gaining back 20 of the 50 pounds that took me 3 years to lose !!!

Hello my dear...I am right there with ya in the Puffy Club. Let's face it, there are just some things worth being "puffy" for...like those donuts. LOL.
My son said to me "Don't worry, Mommy...you're not THAT fat."

Perfect.

Oh my gosh, that Sophie is such a riot! Yup, leave it to kids to tell it like it is...

Funny I should read that now as I just came back from a power walk to try and get rid of some of the "puff" I've put on lately myself. I don't have any kids to point it out to me, but my pants are certainly telling the story...

Hang in there!
Cindy :)

P.S. Any new color challenge for us?

Hello!
I am a SU! demo and a big fan of yours! Glad to find you here!

Onto the Puffy business. My daughter, Bagel (blog nickname) who is 3, told me at Halloween I looked like a red cow. At first I was sad. But then realized that she was refering to the devil horns on my head! And since she doesn't know what the devil looks like, she thought I was dressed as a red cow! Either way, I am puffier then I would like too!

Can't wait to be back and read more!
