The Interview and our friend Jenn

Well the interview I had last week went really well. I was very impressed by the company and very impressed by their employees that I was able to meet. Sometimes it is sad to close a chapter in your life, but as so many of you said, it is also a great time to look forward to what else is in store for you- and that is exactly the attitude I am trying to take here.
Today started out on a low note, finding out this morning that our family friend and neighbor, Jenn, left her cancer-ridden body behind and went back home to have peace and to dance freely without pain. She was a trooper, a shining example of faith, compassion, determination, a fighter, an amazing mother, wife and daughter, and truly one of the greatest spirits in a person I have ever met in my life. She will truly be missed by all of our neighbors, but because we knew her and saw her example, we will all strive to live a little better each day.
I worked my landscaping business today for a few hours and then just as I was leaving I got a call for a second interview to the place I interviewed last week. To say I was ecstatic would be putting it lightly! I was over the moon. Can't wait to meet with them again. I can already tell this next chapter in my life is going to be a GREAT one, whatever it is.
Ending today with a wrestling match with my little chickens was the perfect ending of my day. We tend to get a bit out of hand- who are we kidding- I tend to get a bit out of hand. I am usually the one breaking things and trying all sorts of sofa gymnastics. I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world.
Your friend,
Jaron

My prayers are with your friends family and friends that they will find peace and comfort in eachother, their memories of Jenn, and their faith.

I wish you the best with your interview - I'm sure you'll do GREAT and you'll be sad when you have to go back to work and leave your kiddos! ;)

Sorry to hear about your friend Jenn, but like you said she is now free of all her pain and walking in the house of the LORD.

Good luck on your interviews...I know you will do fabulous...as always you shine like the brightest star out there.

It is always great to hear when you can actually wrestle and break things and NOT get into trouble...ok well maybe a stern look from your significant other huh...LOL

Have a great day Jaron and BTW, the LOB was great thanks for sharing...mom came over and I brought your blog up to show her she liked it too.

Loads of prayers coming for Jenn's family - we've had a number of people die here lately and even though we know they are no longer suffering and are in God's hands now, it's still painful.

Honey, I can't imagine one single company every interviewing you once and letting you out the door without barcoding your forehead with their "ours!" sticker so I am not at all surprised that you have a callback already. Knock 'em dead!

I am really sorry to hear about your friend Jenn. I wish her family and friends all the best in those difficult times.

On the other end, I am totally jazzed to read you have been asked on a second interview. Such great news!!! Go knock 'em dead! (Well, not dead, I mean, you do want to work for them, but you know... Work your Jaron Magic!)

Best of luck!
Cindy :)

Hey there Super Stud, oops, I mean Super Star! That is what you are, a Shining Star to all who are blessed to meet you.

Remember, be picky, more companies will want YOU then you will want them! Regardless of the economy, you will find just the perfect place for now! And hey with Cindy L also sending prayers your way, how can you go wrong!?!?

It's hard to keep your chin up all the time, but if we don't try to, we will miss what is right in front of us!

God Bless!

I am so sorry about the loss of your friend but I know that she is in a much better place. May the Lord be with your family and her's.

I know that you will do great in the second interview!

I heard the neatest thing in church on Sunday.

"Don't ask the Lord to move your mountains just ask for the strength to be able to climb them."

blessings to you!

Hi Jaron. I wish you & your family the BEST. My husband is unemployed too. You've lost your income & lost a job that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning (& maybe shave, ha). You will be sorely missed in SLC this year!

My prayers are with you and Jenn's family and other neighbors in this trying time. At least she isn't suffering anymore.

My prayers go out to your neighbors family. Even though it was a long painful journey, it is still the hardest for the family to have to go on without her.
ANd I'm so excited for you! A new fab job is going to be yours very soon! I can just feel it!
I went to the Minneapolis regionals this year and really enjoyed your presentation. I almost went to introduce myself and meet you, but I figured you get way too much of that and didn't want to bother you. Now I really wish I had! I am sure I will never get the opportunity again :(
I just want to leave you with a smile today, as you have made me smile so often. Keep up with your awesome attitude, I know it is a conscious choice, and that much more admirable for that very fact.

So sorry about your friend. That's so sad. Of course not for her....but for those left behind. I'm happy she's pain free now. And sounds like she has left an incredible legacy behind.

I'm also so happy for your that things are looking up! Let us know how the second interview goes! Although I'm sick to my stomach that you won't be with US at convention! UGH! But I hope all your dreams come true...and more! :)

I just heard and I am very sorry. I know you will find something better for you and your family. I don't know why but at the Seattle regionals, I just had this feeling that you were one of the people that were laid off. We missed you there. Enjoy the time with your wife and little chickens! God Bless

So glad you have a 2nd interview scheduled. You will always be missed by us demos, but life must go on.

Sounds like your neighbor Jenn was a real inspiration to all the neighborhood.

Hope you get your landscaping finished before you have to go back to work!!
